Eric Oldenkamp

Dedicated legal advocate, family man, and community leader.

Eric focuses his legal practice on criminal defense and also represents clients in civil litigation, guardianships, juvenile delinquency cases, and protective order proceedings (OFP/HRO), along with a variety of other legal matters.

Originally from Tempe, Arizona, Eric has deep ties to the Marshall area. He attended Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU), earning a Bachelor's degree in Justice Administration. While at SMSU, he played for the Mustang football team and was named the 2006 SMSU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He later earned a Master's degree in Education/Sports Leadership from SMSU and received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2015.

Eric is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the 9th District Bar Association, where he previously served as President. He also serves on the Lincoln-Lyon County Treatment Court team and remains actively involved in the Marshall community, including serving on the Advisory Board for Hope Harbor, coaching youth soccer for Marshall United Soccer Club, and volunteering with the Marshall Leadership Academy, where he is also a past graduate.

Eric lives in Marshall with his wife and their two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, following sports, watching movies, and playing games.
